Termite Control FAQ
How can you quote a Termite Treatment price over the phone and others claim they cannot?
TECHNOLOGY! We utilize up to date technology that allows us to view most (90%) of structures through satellite imagery. This allows us to measure the linear footage of your home. Our pricing matrix is based on two things, type of structure and linear footage. The companies that require an on-site inspection, either do not use technology to access satellite imagery or more than likely are looking to up-sell you. Read more about these tactics and others to look out for @ "BEFORE YOU HIRE A PCO"
How do you know what to treat at my home if you did not come out to inspect it?
The reality is, that there are basic Standard Termite Treatment procedures in the industry that all companies are required to adhere to and theses standards are regulated by the Department of Agriculture. The better companies will always do more than the minimum, which is why we offer online pricing that covers all of our treatment techniques with no up charge. We conduct a comprehensive inspection of your property at the time of treatment by one of our Master Termite Technicians not a "Sales Inspector" who's primary job is to "SELL".
Why do other companies offer "FREE" inspections and you do not?
The reason they offer/require these "FREE" on-site inspections is twofold. First, is to obtain the linear footage of the structure for pricing, which can be done via satellite imagery with the proper software, and secondly and most importantly they want to send out a "SALES INSPECTOR" to your home. The purpose of that is to sell and justify selling you additional services, many companies sell their services "A La Carte". The Sales Inspectors make their income based on how much they sell. Unfortunately many companies leave the pricing up to the Sales Inspector's discretion. This practice causes Sales Inspectors to price at what they think they can get from the customer rather than based on actual treatment cost. This is why they offer " FREE INSPECTIONS", remember that NOTHING is free.
If I sign up, will you try and charge me more once you get to my house?
ABSOLUTELY NOT! We stand behind our quoted prices, even if we have to use all of our tactical techniques to eradicate the termites.
Is there anytime that you would charge more than the price quoted?
The ONLY time that would happen, is if we were misled about the situation.
Examples:
Does Termidor have or leave an odor?
No, Termidor is odor-free.
I heat my home with firewood. Could I be bringing in termites?
Subterranean termites live in the ground, not wood. Any termites trapped in the wood will not survive because they cannot reproduce without the queen. However, ants and beetles are capable of coming in with the wood.
Can I do a termite treatment myself?
Treatment requires specialized equipment, which is not readily available and when dealing with the specialized nature of termite treatments, it is not recommended that homeowners attempt treatment. They should work with a professional Pest Control Operator for this service.
The outside wood trim on our garage is rotting. How do we know if termites are causing this, or if it is another problem?
It sounds like wood decay or fungi damage as a result of moisture in the wood, which could be caulked and painted to prevent a re-occurrence. To verify, contact a professional Pest Control Operator.
Does Termidor take care of other pests as well as termites?
Termidor does have potency towards other pests but is not intended to serve as a pest eliminating chemical.

Examples:
- We were told that a structure is a specific foundation type but in reality it is completely different
- We were intentionally given the wrong address to quote on initially
- You request a different service when we arrive like: "Pest Control" or "Borate Treatment"
